Kaitlin is enerting a contest called Reflections at school. It's an art contest (for art of any kind) and the theme this year is "Beauty Is.....". She decided on her own that she wanted to enter this photo that she took of Angie and Silas a while ago. Angie has inspired Kaitlin to want to adopt from Ethiopia someday. Kaitlin has always wanted to adopt (ever since I told her about the birthing process at age 8) so it was a no brainer for her to define beauty as adoption. I helped her edit the photo and add the words, but this is hers. And Silas is her LOVE. She loves that baby so much and wants a little Silas of her own someday. It made me tear up to know that this is how she defines beauty because she is right, and it makes me proud.
